TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL

  1. Information on how to enter the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award Brazil 2026 forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Award, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Personal data and sensitive personal data will only be processed for purposes relating to the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award. By entering the Award, Entrants consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Data Protection Notice.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. The Award is not open to individuals under the age of 18.
  2. The Award is open exclusively to Brazilian residents holding a valid identification document, with the exception of any director, officer, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of Veuve Clicquot Brazil, its marketing service providers, or any person who directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with any such entity, including their spouses, domestic partners, business partners and immediate family members.

On the date of entry, Entrants must:

  1. Be the duly appointed President, Chief Executive Officer or equivalent, owner or chairperson of a company registered in Brazil; and
  2. Exercise effective control over such company, as defined under applicable Brazilian corporate and commercial law.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Entrant. The Organizer may request any information or documentation it reasonably considers necessary for this purpose, and any Award or benefit may be withheld until the Organizer is satisfied that the relevant eligibility requirements have been met.

HOW TO ENTER

The entry period for the Award begins on Monday, June 15, 2026, and ends on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Brazilian time (the “Submission Period”). Entries received outside the Submission Period will not be accepted.

The time of receipt recorded by the Organizer’s computer servers will be used to determine whether an entry was received within the Submission Period.

To enter the Award, each Entrant must complete the following steps:

The Entrant must access the website exclusively dedicated to the Award, available at https://www.boldopendatabase.com/en/bold-woman-award, select only one of the two Award categories — the Bold Woman Award or the Bold Future Award — click “Participate” and complete the following mandatory fields:

  1. First name, last name, date of birth and a valid email address;
  2. Company name, principal business activities, date of incorporation, company registration number, number of employees and total revenue for the 2025 financial year;
  3. Answers to the questions relating to the criteria set out below; and
  4. The required consent, release and waiver of liability relating to participation in the Award.

Participation in the Award is limited to one entry per person and per company across both Award categories. For the avoidance of doubt, each Entrant may enter only one Award category.

All valid entries will become final upon the close of the Submission Period. After this date, Entrants will not be permitted to amend or update their entries.

The Organizer will not be responsible for any entry that is lost, delayed, corrupted, incomplete or not received by the end of the Submission Period, regardless of the reason.

THE AWARDS AND THEIR CRITERIA

BOLD WOMAN AWARD

Demonstrating Entrepreneurial Boldness

The candidate must be a woman who founded or co-founded a company more than five years ago. She must have made a significant contribution to the success of the company through her entrepreneurial vision, leadership and initiative.

Successfully Reinventing Traditions

The candidate must have made a tangible contribution to the transformation and evolution of traditional processes, practices or business models within her field.

Maintaining an Ethical Approach to Business

The candidate must promote ethical and positive change within the company and its immediate ecosystem, including, for example, improving environmental impact, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace and contributing to meaningful social change.

BOLD FUTURE AWARD

Demonstrating Entrepreneurial Boldness

The candidate must be a woman who founded or co-founded a company within the past five years. She must have made a significant contribution to the success of the company through her entrepreneurial vision, leadership and initiative.

Successfully Reinventing Traditions

The candidate must have made a tangible contribution to the transformation and evolution of traditional processes, practices or business models within her field.

Maintaining an Ethical Approach to Business

The candidate must promote ethical and positive change within the company and its immediate ecosystem, including, for example, improving environmental impact, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace and contributing to meaningful social change.

SELECTION OF FINALISTS

An independent judging panel appointed by the Organizer will select up to five (5) finalists from all eligible entries in each of the two Award categories.

The judging panel will select as finalists the Entrants whose submissions, in its opinion, best satisfy the criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.

The finalists in each Award category will be contacted by Veuve Clicquot Brazil, or by an agency acting on its behalf, by email no later than September 16, 2026.

Should a finalist fail to respond within the required period, Veuve Clicquot reserves the right to select an alternative finalist in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Finalists must keep their selection strictly confidential until the Organizer publicly announces the results. The Organizer reserves the right to require finalists to enter into a confidentiality agreement where the Organizer considers this necessary.

The finalists will be invited to attend the official awards ceremony (the “Ceremony”). The date, time and location of the Ceremony will be communicated to the finalists at least one month in advance.

The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, change the format of the Ceremony or cancel the Ceremony for any reason.

The Organizer or its appointed representative will make at least three (3) attempts to contact each selected finalist, using the email address provided at the time of entry, within two (2) business days following the date of selection.

SELECTION OF THE WINNERS

The independent judging panel will select one (1) winner from among the finalists in each Award category.

The winners will be selected using a points-based evaluation system and the same criteria applied during the selection of the finalists.

The winners will be announced during the Ceremony, which is expected to take place in November 2026 at a venue in São Paulo, Brazil.

All finalists will be invited to attend the Ceremony. The date, time and location of the Ceremony will be communicated to the finalists at least one month in advance.

The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, change the format of the Ceremony or cancel the Ceremony for any reason.

PRIZES

Each of the two (2) winners will receive a trophy during the Ceremony.

Each of the two (2) winners will also be invited to visit Maison Veuve Clicquot, located at 12 Rue du Temple, Reims, France, before December 31, 2027 (the “Visit”).

The dates and times of the Visit will be confirmed and communicated to the winners at least two (2) months in advance.

GENERAL RULES

Participation in the Award requires the full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All decisions made by the Organizer in connection with the Award will be final.

The Organizer reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Award and/or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entry that it considers to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or where it has reasonable grounds to believe that there has been an attempt to manipulate, undermine or otherwise distort the competitive process or the spirit of the Award.

Veuve Clicquot and its appointed representatives reserve the right to publicly announce and identify the winners through any channels or locations they consider appropriate.

By entering the Award, each winner agrees that her name may be published and used by Veuve Clicquot in connection with the Award.

Veuve Clicquot and its appointed representatives reserve the right to use photographs, videos and other images of the winners for advertising, communication and promotional purposes in any manner they consider appropriate, without any additional compensation being payable to the winners.

PUBLICITY RIGHTS

Finalists and winners may be required to sign a release authorizing the Organizer to use their names, images, likenesses and any information submitted as part of their entries for advertising, publicity, communication and promotional activities relating to the Award.

DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

The Organizer will process personal data for the purposes of administering the Award and publicizing the winners in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
